Superman, The High-Flying History Of America's Most Enduring Hero by Larry Tye

SUPERMAN

Superman, The High Flying History Of America's Most Enduring Hero by Larry Tye. 2012 Superman book which is available to the public from the Audubon Public Library.

Superman Annual #1 from '60, art by famed Superman artist, Curt Swan.

Pictured above is Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the 2 men who created Superman.

Below is a still from the '41 Superman animation series. These cartoons still hold up today, if you can find a good quality DVD of these cartoons they are very watchable and entertaining even though they are 70 years old.

2 of the most famous Superman villians Brainiac and Lex Luthor have Supes shrunken and caged.
Superman's fave girlfriends Lana Lang and Lois Lane competed for Supes attention, I believe Superman is married to Lois Lane now, so I guess she finally won Supes heart in the end.

Here's the infamous death issue from '93, the one that ended the old and started the new Superman mythos, it also renewed worldwide interest in, arguably the greatest comic book hero of all-time, Superman.
