Vlad The Impaler

Vlad The Impaler was the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula. Vlad was an evil man who murdered thousands of people by impaling them on wooden stakes, leaving many in full view of the public and his opponents as a warning of impending doom for any who attempted to get in his way. Vlad The Impaler the graphic novel was published in '09 by comic veterans Sid Jacobson and Ernie Colon.

Vlad was known for his vicious temper and his bedroom prowess.

American Vampire, Vertigo Comics, Lady Constantine, Stephen King

American Vampire is a cool, hip and new type of Vampire graphic novel by Vertigo which is part of DC Comics. The art is Great and the legendary Stephen King helped write the story so you know it's a quality piece of work. I posted a couple of gruesome panels for your entertainment. Clicking on the art will make it bigger and readable. Bloody Good Stuff!

Here's another sexy Vertigo comic from '03.

Marvel's Greatest Superhero Battles

Two of the great battle comics reprinted in the book. FF #25 and SS #4.

M. G. S. Battles is a super cool full color hardcover graphic novel from 1978. What's really cool is it's actually in an orange hardcover format. The original cover is a glossy thin print which I scanned for this blog. I believe this is one of the first graphic novels that was produced in hardcover book format.

Cover Art by John Romita.
