Solomon Grundy is THE original big, strong, tireless, deadly villian in the comic world and one of my fave comic villians.
A zombie-like swamp creature, Solomon Grundy is a mindless brute hell-bent on killing Green Lantern in this 1946 Justice Society Of America issue that was reprinted in Super Team Family from 1976. Grundy battles the entire Justice Society to get to Green Lantern.

Here's the original All Star Comics #33 cover from 1946.

In the end justice prevails and Grundy is banished to the moon by Green Lantern at the end of this classic issue.

Swamp Thing: Dark Genesis G.N. from '91. Stories are from House Of Secrets #92 and Swamp Thing 1-10. Swamp Thing #7 features a fight between Batman 'n Swamp Thing, Swamp Thing wins. Artwork and stories are all great! Issues are from '71 - '74. Classic stuff.

DC Checkerboard Issues

DC Checkerboard's were released in 1966/67 and remind me of my childhood since I used to read my cousin's comics way back when I was a lil' tyke.

I own all these DC checkerboard issues and I am on a never ending quest to obtain all of them.

Some were scanned still in their protecto bags.
