Dracula, Bela Lugosi

A painting of Bela Lugosi as Dracula by Basil Gogos that graced the cover of Famous Monsters Of Filmland #251. Bela's Dracula still remains the definitive Dracula, posted just in time for Halloween. Check out the Nosferatu painting in the upper left hand corner.

My day at Queen City Bookstore #5

2 great Bela Lugosi Dracula mags, right on time for Halloween. Thanks for the deal Emil.

Godzilla, Monster World, G-Fan

Monster World, a special issue from Famous Monsters Of Filmland. This is a fantastic full-color glossy issue highlighting all things Godzilla, Toho and Kaiju related. I picked this up at Halley's Comics on Free Comic Book Day and I'm glad I did. Go Go Godzilla!

I picked this G-Fan Godzilla fanzine up at an antique shop in North Tonawanda. Theres a couple of cool stories about the famous flying scene in Godzilla vs. The Smog Monster and another article about Godzillas "comeback" in 1984.

Godzilla Color Special #1 from 1992.
